Terms, privacy and copyright
mivo is an embeddable video player. It holds no media: it finds streams that third-party hosts already make public and plays them inside an iframe on the embedding site.
Terms of use
By embedding or using the player you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
The player is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability. A title may be unavailable, and sources may change or stop at any time.
Sites that embed the player are responsible for their own pages and for complying with the laws that apply to them. Do not use the player for anything unlawful, and do not attempt to abuse, overload or work around the service's protections.
The player may show advertising, which pays for running it. We may change these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
Privacy
The player has no accounts and asks for no personal details. It stores playback preferences such as volume and subtitle choice in your browser, and they never leave it.
Like any website, it receives technical data that browsers send with every request, such as IP address, browser type and the page that embedded it. This is used to deliver video, prevent abuse and keep the service running.
These third parties process data when you use the player:
- Google Analytics measures anonymous usage, such as which titles play and whether playback succeeded.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and runs Turnstile, a bot check that does not use tracking cookies.
- Advertising partners may set cookies to show and measure ads.
- Video hosts receive requests directly from your browser when a stream plays.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. For any privacy question or request, use the contact below.
Copyright and takedown
mivo stores and uploads no video files. Streams come from third-party hosts, which remain responsible for what they serve.
We respect intellectual property. If you own the rights to a work and want it removed from the player, email the address below with:
- the work you own, and proof you own it or act for the owner;
- the player URL or title ID the notice concerns;
- your name and contact details;
- a statement, in good faith, that the use is not authorised, and that the notice is accurate.
Valid notices are acted on promptly, and the title is blocked in the player.
